Biochemistry jobs USA | Senior Scientist position @ Bristol-Myers Squibb

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of protein chemistry, general protein analysis and characterization methods
  • Experience with protein chemistry analysis techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, CE-SDS, iCIEF, carbohydrate analysis, UV-Vis spectroscopy and plate based assays
  • Proven record of method development, method qualification and technical transfer, and an ability to implement new methods and technologies and to use Design of Experiments approaches
  • Understanding of and experience applying ICH, USP, Ph Eur, FDA, and other relevant sources of guidance to CMC development
  • Experience methods and technical reports, authoring sections/documents for regulatory submissions, and responding to regulatory questions
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills, including a customer-focused attitude
  • Proven data presentation, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • The ability and desire to work comfortably in a fast paced team setting, collaborate with other groups and deliver results in line with project and team objectives
  • Prior supervisory and timeline/deliverable management experience

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in biology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or a relevant scientific discipline, with 6 or more years of industry or relevant experience
  • Candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees will be considered with the appropriate experience
