Bioengineering Job USA | Sr Engineer Position @ Biogen USA

Job Description

  • Support the advancement of programs from Research to Manufacturing.
  • Define cell culture process for biologics programs as well as to transfer it into manufacturing.
  • Assessment and development of new innovative technologies and enhance fundamental understanding that will be crucial for successful cell culture processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work independently or with minimal supervision on defined projects for development of mammalian Cell Culture processes for recombinant protein production
  • Design and execute laboratory experiments with minimal guidance
  •  Perform independent data analysis and interpretation and develop strategies for optimization and troubleshooting
  •  Document development work in concise reports and provide project updates in written and oral presentations
  •  Support maintenance tasks and new technology evaluations for laboratory instrumentation; interact with outside vendors / suppliers

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven record of successfully planning and executing projects and experiments
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly skilled in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other tools. Knowledge of statistical software applications, including DoE

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Ph.D.( Bioengineering, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related discipline) with 0-3 years’ experience, or
  • M.S. with 6+ years’ experience in the Biotech / Biopharm industry
  • Other relevant expertise in Science or Engineering will be considered.
