Basic Qualifications

  • BS degree in immunology, biology, cell biology, biochemistry or related discipline.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical , biotech industry or academic setting in an immunology, biology, biochemistry or related discipline

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Experience with in vitro and or ex vivo cellular techniques
  • Human or rodent cell and tissue culture skills
  • Able to perform cellular immune function assays (i.e. proliferation/cytotoxicity/apoptosis assays).
  • Experience in techniques such as bioassays (eg. ELISA, multiplex protein analysis), cell separation techniques (i. e. density centrifugation, magnetic bead separation), FACS sorting or basic molecular biology.
  • Good data handling and recording skills as well as the ability to interpret moderately complex data sets and draw appropriate conclusions from them.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Cell line engineering for assay development
  • Experience of more sophisticated flow cytometry or molecular biology techniques
  • Cellular staining and imaging techniques (eg. immunohistochemistry, light and confocal microscopy)
