Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

No. of Posts: One

Project Title: “An in-depth study of host-non-mulberry silkworm interaction with special reference to extra floral nectarines (EFN) and volatile organic chemicals (VOC) of host plants and the silkworm’s adaptations to the host plant’s defense response”

Principal Investigator:  Dr (Mrs) Dipsikha Bora (E. Mail: dsbora@dibru.ac.in)

Work Load: The candidate will have to visit places of Assam, Aruanachal and Meghalaya and be ready to do intensive laboratory work at odd hours besides normal hours

Monthly Salary:

  • 25,000+HRA for JRF with NET
  • 12,000+HRA for JRF without NET
  • On completion of two years the post of JRF will be upgraded to SRF.

Qualifications:

M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Zoology with specialization in entomology/biochemistry/molecular biology.
