The School of Agriculture, Food and Wine is one of four schools in the Faculty of Sciences. We are seeking a biochemist with a recent PhD in Plant or Fungal Biochemistry to contribute to collaborative investigations utilising protein biochemistry, including enzymology and protein expression in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic systems.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will join a multidisciplinary team at the University of Adelaide’s Waite Campus utilising resources and expertise in the use of mass spectrometry-based qualitative and quantitative proteomics and/or other general analytical methods for biomolecules.
You should have:
- a PhD in Plant or Fungal Biochemistry
- proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively and to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- ability to research independently
Salary: Level A, with PhD (from July’16) $80,881 – $86,820 per annum.
Superannuation: An employer contribution of 9.5% applies
This fixed-term position is available immediately until 31 December 2017.
